World Class Academic Club is an educational service provider designed to meet the challenges of the 21st Century educational environment.  We are a Premier vendor for 21st Century Learning Centers throughout Arizona.  We recognize that one of the greatest challenges facing educators today is how to close the achievement gap between suburban and urban children, as well as how to meet the necessary increases in domestic academic standards overall, just to keep up with the rest of the world.  It is well established that children in lower income communities have historically performed well below their peers in more affluent communities, particularly on standardized achievement test including: ready, writing, mathematics and science primarily due to socioeconomic factors. Likewise it is no secret that students in the United States have fallen behind their foreign counterparts who have longer school days, along with year-around school schedules versus the standard 9 month schedule in the US.  So the question is how can your community address these deficiencies?  The answer is, that is where we come in! World Class Academic Club delivers an after-school, Saturday & Summer Camp Expanded Learning Time (ELT) program model that provides the following services to students attending high-poverty, low-performing schools: Academic enrichment activities that can help students meet state and local achievement standards.  A broad array of additional services are offered and designed to reinforce and complement regular academic programs, such as: tutoring, AIMS preparation, academic competitions that have curriculum centered around STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering,Math) education. Furthermore additional services are offered to complement regular academic programs, such as character building recreational activities through participation in club sports.  Furthermore future programs are currently under develoment including drug and violence prevention programs, counseling , art, music and technology.  Finally literacy and related educational development services are being developed eventually to be offered to families of children who are served in our programs.
